APSA Launches New Website
The Asia Pacific Screen Awards is pleased to announce the launch of its new website. It coincides with APSA’s international launch today at the Festival de Cannes.
The website was entirely rebuilt by Brisbane-based brand development agency, Underbrand, who have worked closely with APSA since 2009 on all elements of their creative design including the Asia Pacific Screen Awards Official Program, APSA publications and collateral and international advertising campaigns.
APSA Chairman Des Power said: “Our website is the portal by which we communicate with the 70 countries and areas that form the APSA network. In many ways, it is our most important tool for building on APSA’s aim to promote the films and filmmakers of Asia Pacific to a global audience.”

Users will find major developments to the design and navigation allowing easier access to key online content areas, vibrant image galleries, new videos of the Awards Ceremony and excerpts of APSA’s documentary series about the films and filmmakers of Asia Pacific, Scene by Scene. Most importantly, the all new Archive section features a searchable database of past APSA Nominees with detailed information for each film.
APSA will continue to roll out new social and community features over the coming months including the new members area which will enable this year’s introduction of Academy voting rights in the categories of Animation, Documentary and Children’s Feature Films. Academy members across the region will view and vote on eligible films using digital content delivery platform, e.v.e, developed in Brisbane by digital media firm The Media Architects.
