Corrections Class

Based on the book by author and family psychologist, Ekaterina Murashova, Corrections Class is the coming of age story of disabled Russian teenager Lena who is enthusiastic about returning to school after years of home schooling. However, the school buildings have no disability access for students like Lena, who uses a wheelchair. The treatment and instruction from the teachers for the students in her special needs class is also less than inspiring. Neglected by the teachers and isolated from the other students, the class group gets on with the messy business of being teenagers as best they can, despite being made to feel unwanted by the society in which they live.
